NY NEW BALTIMORE — New Baltimore advances comprehensive plan update with volunteer committee. The Town Board announced formation of an advisory committee to guide the town's first comprehensive plan review since 2016, with 13 resident volunteers already interested in serving; applications will be accepted for one more week. The board also authorized a $195,160.64 payment to Bellamy Construction for ongoing Water District No. 2 waterline replacement work, with funds advanced from the town's general fund.

All votes were unanimous. The comprehensive plan update, expected to take one to two years, will address emerging zoning issues including solar installations, breweries, battery storage, and marijuana facilities.
