NY NEW BALTIMORE — New Baltimore Planning Board approves Ahrens subdivision, advances two applications. The Board unanimously approved maps for Francis Ahrens' two-lot minor subdivision of property on Old State Road, requiring filing with the Greene County Clerk within 60 days. Two applications advanced to public hearings on March 12, 2026, at 7 p.m.: Peter Geoghegan's flag-lot minor subdivision and Lance Palmateer's non-commercial Special Use Permit application for a 660-square-foot garage structure.
Geoghegan must submit an Agricultural Data Statement; Palmateer's approval depends on submitting a detailed site plan. Chairman Rob VanEtten deferred action on Ken Gonyea's Absolute Fire Protection application, requiring County Planning Board review due to State Route 9W proximity.
