NY NEW BALTIMORE — Planning Board unanimously approves three applications, begins review of $20 million travel plaza. The New Baltimore Planning Board approved a special use permit for Lance Palmateer, a lot line adjustment for Ronald Klein and Gleda Baldini, and a minor subdivision for Lloyd Simpson, with all three applications receiving unanimous board support. The board also heard a preliminary presentation for Love's Travel Plaza, a $20 million project proposed at Route 9W that would include a 10,000-square-foot facility with 37 truck parking spaces, a restaurant component, and 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation creating an estimated 40 to 50 jobs.

Project representatives stated the development faces an 18- to 24-month permitting timeline pending coordination of water and sewer infrastructure with regional agencies.
