NY NEW BALTIMORE — Zoning Board approves area variance for Hadley Drive residence, Schultz use variance fails on Board count. The Board unanimously granted Randy Lent relief from the 60-foot front-setback requirement for a new residence at 51 Hadley Drive (Tax Map 17.01-1-20), with neighboring support expressed during the public hearing. A Use Variance for Schultz Farm and Properties, LLC, to continue Commercial Vehicle Repair, Professional Offices, Light Manufacturing, Truck Terminal, and Warehousing at 161 Scheller Park Road drew two affirmative votes and one opposed; Board members Sam Anderson, Craig Albano, and Mark Peckham present.
The minutes note the motion did not carry, as a majority of all Board members is required; the application will be reconsidered when all members are present. The Board also scheduled a public hearing for Charles Rappa's greenhouse setback variance for May 6, 2026.
